Choose your province’s or territory’s application below to apply for a reading in your school, library, bookstore, community centre or venue. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2017.
Successful applicants will be notified in March 2017. Please contact the Book Week Coordinator in your region if you have any questions throughout the process.
All applications from potential hosts (schools, libraries, bookstores, community centres) will be reviewed; however, members of the CCBC are given priority. The CCBC has many resources available to help teachers and librarians choose the best books for their classrooms or libraries. Click here to become a CCBC member.
Preference is also given to communities that have not recently hosted a visit, as well as to schools and libraries that work together to secure multiple readings within a community. The CCBC has a limited amount of travel funding for each of the tours, and so we must be sure that there is sufficient interest from schools and libraries within a particular region.
