In light of the increasing concern surrounding the Covid-19 global pandemic, it is with heavy hearts that the Canadian Children’s Book Centre has decided to cancel the 2020 Canadian Children’s Book Week tour. We are on board with stopping the spread of the virus and are taking precautions to flatten the curve. The health of all those involved with the 2020 tour—the authors and illustrators, the students, teachers and librarians, and dedicated volunteers—is of utmost importance.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, as this was a difficult decision to come to.
